A new compliant way to have employees sign off on time sheets.

Skello is a hyper-growth European company with a mission: to plan the success of its customers. In concrete terms, Skello is revolutionizing workforce management by allowing any manager to optimize, simplify and plan work through an innovative and intuitive tool.

The goal

To simplify the export of individual timesheets from Skello, we enabled users to download them directly from the schedule interface. By clicking on any week and selecting "Print," users access a modal where they can choose "individual timesheet" as the document type. After selecting the desired period and clicking "Export," the download starts. However, the current process opens a new browser window and generates a single PDF containing all employees' timesheets — making it less practical for individual distribution.

The challenge

Managers lose valuable time manually collecting, printing, and signing individual timesheets. The process is repetitive, error-prone, and lacks traceability. The real need: a faster, more reliable way to validate hours worked — ideally with a digital, legally compliant solution that streamlines approvals without disrupting daily operations.

Solution

Skello’s e-signature feature is available directly from the Employees > Documents section. Managers can send any document for signature — whether created from a Skello template or imported externally, as long as it’s in PDF format. Everything is centralized and ready to be signed in just a few clicks.

Results

Since launching the electronic signature feature, managers have saved valuable time by eliminating manual signature collection. The process is now more secure and audit-ready, reducing the risk of lost or incomplete documents. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive — managers highlight the tool’s ease of use, and employees appreciate its simplicity. Adoption has been strong, with 40% of users embracing the feature in the first month alone.
